I picked the winners and losers, bloomberg does the same, with a few minor differences. They think United Health Care and other large health insurers will be winners. Ok, so we have two or three remaining health insurers taking on mandatory bad policies…sound like a winner?
I liked this part:
President Bush increased highway and transit spending to a record $286.5 billion over six years in the highway bill he signed into law in 2005. That compared with $218 billion for the previous highway bill but was less than the $375 billion House leaders wanted.
Will it be possible for Barack Obama to spend more on roads in the next four years? Really? And only by taxing the top 5%? What happens when the top 5% aren’t making as much money in the years ahead? Any bright ideas?
